A Nature Lover’s Card

Masculine cards are can be so hard.  This one started out being in “manly” natural colours, however I think it would work equally well for a female, providing of course that whoever receives it like nature!

A pale celery green cardbase has been matted with a mocha layer and the top layer is white.   The white layer has been stamped with soft colours of green, light blue, brown and oranges. 

Stamp sets used are Stampin Ups Work of Art (for the background paint effect in a chequerboard effect with pale blue and green),   French Foliage (for the leaves in oranges, script in sepia, date stamp in blue and ink splatters in dark green) and Nature Walk (for the bird in dark brown).  

The whole effect is kind of journali-ish and vintage.
