A floral thank you

Pink and green is always a good match and I was very happy with the way this card turned out.    

This one has a white card base.  Cut a piece of green cardstock for the matted layer and using a floral stamp from the Growing Green set by Stampin Up and stamp it with slightly darker green ink all over.   Cut some pink patterned paper for the bottom part and adhere it to the green cardstock, then adhered some pink ribbon at the join, tucking the backs behind, before attaching to the card base.  

For the top layer, cut white cardstock smaller than usual to take advantage of the coloured background and stamp with the maidenhair fern stamp from the same set and colour it with watercolours.   On a separate piece of white card stamp the flower (also from Growing Green), colour it with watercolours and fussy cut it, adhering to the bottom right corner of the top layer.   Add a sentiment and mount the top layer.
